Decided I am going with a new hairstyle, a bob cut. I always loved and due for a change in my life trying something new. At 45 years old turning 46 next month, it was time having long hair all my life Luckily spoke with my hairstylist on this and told her I did not want to go short. Figured out I wanted something shoulder length or a bob cut. Decided on the bob cut and loved what my stylist shown me. Plus my husband is 100% supportive of me doing this. Plus my mom has been on me on this for a little bit. I know she is going to like and this is scheduled for next week Monday picking this one my stylist shown me

My natural hair is styled into a bob cut but it is shorter.  It is the same length all around. 
I enjoy it.  I will occasionally wear a wig but I prefer my own hair.  A change is sometimes fun though.

You two will likely enjoy your new look.

I will love it. I have contacted a friend of mine that makes wigs for girls that have alopecia or going through cancer treatments. Told her going to donate the long hair cut off to her for her cause and she is glad I am doing this.

As long as you are happy, honey, that's all that matters.

About 10 years ago, I once had a bob cut, and some of my friends commented the short hairstyle made me look more feminine than long hair. But I am now growing my hair. Hopefully, my hair will be long enough to have a ponytail next year.

Got it done and I love it. My mom did not recognize me at first and did finally see it was me. Said it looks good. My husband said the same thing to me

A merit of short hair is that it is far easier to maintain the hair, saving time. However, I prefer long hair. Everything long is sexy to me (e.g., legs, arms, high heels, torso, etc).

What possessed you to get such a frumpy hairstyle?  Also it's the  worst  of  both worlds  long enough to  flop in your face and  too short  to  tie back or put up.  Had one when I  fried my hair with  a diy bleach job and hated it
