Title: Eyeshadow

So I've been wearing eye shadow for a little bit, but I'm having issues with darker colors, since I'm the morning I'll put the eyeshadow on my eyelids (and a lighter color between my lid and brow), and I'll look very feminine that way. However during the day it'll migrate to under my eyes to where it'll give me that Gene Simmons/KISS look. I do wear blue light blocking glasses so it's hard for people to see the spread.
Any ideas for how to keep it on my lids?

Do you use a lid primer? I use one from Urban Decay. It helps the colors to pop and to keep it in place.

I was going to suggest a primer too. The problem is oil from your skin. Make sure to clean and dry the skin thoroughly. Then add primer or powder.
You can also use a setting powder to keep it in place, you'll just need to do touchups now and then to keep the oil at bay.
Hope this helps.

No. I either put it on my bare skin or I put foundation on my lids. And it happens with both.

Powder and primer are designed to absorb the oils. Some foundations may have moisturizer in them, so could be adding oil which is not helpful.

I use setting spray. Seems to work pretty well.

Has anyone tried the cream type eye shadows? I find the normal ones enhance the wrinkles too much and irritate the skin around my eyes. From what I've seen these Will probably solve that.
Also the skin goes all red trying to get normal eye shadow off with micellar water. I think I need sensitive skin options

I put it onto a cotton pad then hold it against the eye for about ten seconds first. It comes off easier without rubbing too hard that way. I use the Garnier Skin Active one and never had an issue.

I'll try holding it on longer and see if that works. I usually rub to try get it out of all the creases, even then struggle to get it all off. Micellar water works on the rest of my face, although gave to moisturize straight after or my skin goes dry and I come up in loads of spots!

The eye gel restores crucial moisture, while the micellar water acts as a gentle first step to remove makeup and impurities." Never felt the need myself but could be worth a try maybe.

I just use cheap makeup remover liquid on a pad. Holding the pad in place for a bit works. Then follow up with the micellar water and moisturize. It works for me. Mostly.
