Are you a geek?
Why do you think so?
It is cool to be a geek, a nerd if you will.
Here is a cheer to all us geeks, mathletes, engineering brainiacs, science nerds, and the like!

Was a geek, can't keep up with technology anymore. Now I'm a homesteader. Well working my self in that direction. We have chickens, a new greenhouse, I just got 2 hives and will get bees in the late winter or spring. Goats are on the horizon too.

I am a bit of (in UK parlance) an anorak, as my by-line says I know a bit about lots of stuff but not enough to be clever!!

I am a nerd. I am not quite geeky enough to be a geek.

I think the same applies to me. I am definitely a nerd and I have lots of spreadsheets to prove it. ;D

Lol, that made me giggle.
I probably am a mixture. 30% geek, 30% nerd, 30% Goth, 10% Vampire. :P

I guess this makes me a geek. I built a small form factor htpc that can do some gaming too. It's a 5800X3D, 32GB system memory and a Sparkle A770 16GB powered by a Corsair SF750 power supply.

I'm going to have to revise my post after reading Kathy's and Lori's posts. I think I was more of a nerd than a geek. I've built a couple of tower PC's in my day, but nothing like Natalie's. Like Chrissy said "Awesome!"

I'm not a geek or a nerd, but I do appreciate cutting edge technology. My favorite is blockchain, not the coins themselves, but the underlying technology that powers cryptocurrencies. And no, I'm not a scammer, nor have I ever created my own cryptocurrency. I'm particularly interested in Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, and the Base blockchain technology from Coinbase. What I love about blockchain is its open-source nature, allowing anyone with an interest to learn and explore it at no cost. I self thought myself a little Solidity, Rust, Python, and JavaScript programming languages.
