Transgender MTF character in a TV show. Here is an example I remember from an episode I saw late last year.

There is an old television show called "Love Boat" which may have been ahead of its time by providing a story arc of a post-op MTF.  Regular cast member Gopher had a male college roommate who he finds out had transitioned.

The episode is called "Gopher's Roommate" and is in season five.
This oldie show is available via streaming services.  There are other story arcs in this same episode, so it is not exclusively about this situation.  If I remember correctly, Gopher mentioned in the closing scene that she was a left tackle in college football.

While the transgender storyline may be considered a typical one for two people that did not initially share transition plans, it all ended well.  She was a passenger on this particular cruise.

Venus van Damme in Sons of  Anarchy. The love scene when Tig realised  she loved him despite  the  many terrible  things he's  done was awesome 

I remember discovering Ranma 1/2 while I was in college. The best episode was when Ranma got hit on the head and went full female.

Also not a tv show but the short story series Remixed was a great story that I found online around the same time.

I think Jadzia Dax from "Star Trek Deep Space Nine" could qualify as MTF character, as her previous host, even in the pilot movie, was established as a man, who the symbiote was transferred from into Jadzia. 

And even though it was not the best episode for trans people representation, we could say that Quark is a trans person who transitioned then detransitioned. 

I just started getting back into the Supergirl show that ran from 2015-2021 and, while the first three seasons don't have a transgender character, Season 4 introduced Nia Nal, aka Dremweaver as a MTF trans woman, played by Nicole Mainse who is transgender herself (and also has a biography out).
