just call me poonpilled, or anon or tranon (any works).
i came here from THAT website (the ->-bleeped-<- one) and i wanted to know how it is on the other side of the field, so to speak.
i'm a brit, last time i checked, i was 18. the few things i'm willing to disclose about myself is that i study sociology and i like skyrim and project sekai.
i'm ->-bleeped-<-ed but as long as i don't track the mud on my shoes on the carpet, i'll probably be fine here.
here's a picture of yoisaki kanade i found on that site, as an impromptu peace offering

Hello, poonpilled.
A simple introduction is just fine, thank you. No need to share more than you are comfortable with.
I am curious what you mean that you are ->-bleeped-<-ed. Usually, a ->-bleeped-<- means a temporary delusion or obsession, like a song stuck in your head. You may have a different meaning and I would like to understand.
So what brings you to Susan's Place? Are you looking for something in particular?
Let me know if I can help out.
Again, welcome to Susan's Place.

it's hard for me to explain what exactly ->-bleeped-<-s are - the best i can do is this: "->-bleeped-<-s are immense doubt and self-hatred and dysphoria by a trans person towards themselves".
there's also a lot of very esoteric words and acronyms in the culture on the board where i'm from that i'll probably throw around from time to time, namely "ngmi" (not gonna make it), "igmi" (i'm gonna make it), "it's joever" (a variation of "it's over") and a few others.
tl;dr: ->-bleeped-<-s are massive amounts of self-hatred and my posts will sound like terminally online word salad
my reasons for coming here are because here is the birthplace of a word near and dear to the hearts of tttt, a word that i don't use and will never use, as it doesn't apply to me nor have i ever needed to use it. also, because i wanted to see how here compared to there.
decided to edit this to elaborate on the nature of the lingo, but:
to quote one of the mods of one of the related other websites to my native site: "Another thing I'd like to add is that people treat /tttt/ lingo as if it was an ancient Sumerian cypher doubling as a cognitohazard, when in reality it's just a simple collection of community-related words that can be easily understood via context and is no different than other community exclusive slang".

@poonpilled
Thank you for clarifying. I'm old so not up on all the lingo. ;D
We have many members who have or are going through similar feelings about themselves. My advice is always the same: seek out a therapist or psychologist with experience in gender identities. They can help you figure out why you feel the way you do and help you find ways to be a happier person.
For those of us who experience dysphoria, that can mean beginning medical treatment, (hormones, surgery, etc.) but does not necessarily mean that is required. Each person decides for themselves what is the right path for them. For some, transitioning is not an option due to circumstances beyond their control, finances, or living situation. That is okay. A therapist can help you handle those situations and perhaps recommend assistance that you were not aware of.
We welcome new members and encourage them to participate in the discussions, but equally important is reading about how others have handled similar situations. The focus of this website is sharing credible information and helping other members.
We look forward to seeing you around the forums.

People get trapped in it for totally understandable reasons and the path of least resistance is assuming it's natural. But it isn't and a high proportion of us have gone round it so often we've eventually found our way out. Maybe most of us.
The gotcha with the cycle is everyone who is in it, and I've been there too, is not only are the haters on your case, so are you. Which means the cycle is there 24/7, not just when you're interacting with others.
