Yes, I do. Do you?
I do wash chicken coop fresh eggs even though I will be boiling them.

Only in egg mayonnaise sandwiches. That's the only time it works.
All other times... bring on the yolk! ;D

US eggs would actually be illegal in the UK.

That's interesting.
I love hard-boiled eggs, but I am too lazy to make them. I get them, ready to eat, from the Deli.
I pondered the commercial process of cooking the eggs and peeling the shells. Do they hire little old ladies to do this? Child labor in some remote country? It is so time-consuming, I couldn't imagine how a commercial enterprise could process thousands of eggs a day. Well, my inquiring mind needed to know, so I looked it up.
I watched an interview with a guy who has a plant that produces hard-boiled eggs.
Since then, I haven't boiled my eggs. I get the water to where it steams, but does not boil, and let the eggs sit for 20 minutes. Rinse in cold water, then roll them with the palm of my hand. The shell peels away easily.
And I am still too lazy to make them very often. And now at these prices, I don't even buy eggs. ;D

You can do hard boiled eggs in an air fryer. Not sure how many of you US folks have this new-fangled device. But you can. Set it to 130 degrees, for 15 minutes. Perfect eggs. :P

I have an Instant Pot that does pressure cooking or air frying. I haven't tried the air fried hard boiled eggs yet, but I do them in my pressure cooker all the time. I put them in low pressure for 11 minutes, then take them out and put them in an ice batch for 5 minutes and those eggs are perfect. The shells peal right off with no trouble at all.

See that's really cool. I hate trying to get the shells off eggs. It's like... the one way to make me ragequit. If my egg is like a jigsaw puzzle... I give up!

Mexican chicken eggs cannot be brought back across the US border legally.
Chickens too for that matter.

Yes. Deviled is preferred. Chopped on fresh green salad or whole with salt and pepper to taste.
Keep boiled eggs out of my ramen. >:-)

Spicy! <3 I like.
Never tried them myself. I know what they are but I've never been a massive fan of spicy food. Must be the Brit in me. That being said... the recipe I saw calls for way more English mustard than paprika... and I love English mustard, so maybe I've been missing out. :P

The deviled eggs my mom made were not spicy. Just a sprinkle of paprika for color.

When I eat deviled eggs, I remove the yellow portion and just eat the white part of the egg.
I do not go out of my way to do this, it is just when you have these put in front of you to eat, that is what I do. I do not like the yolks whatever it has in it in the way of spices.
But I do offer the yellow part to someone else!

You must love meringue, Chrissy. :D
I am very old school Brit. I love softboiled eggs. Prefer them poached. So the yolk is runny. I can stomach a fried egg if it's done right. Put over a very good steak so the yolk runs into it is... god, it's heavenly.

Very important question for you, Chrissy. When you make scrambled eggs, do you use milk?

I am not a chef or anything but try it without. Milk makes the eggs watery, because when it cooks, the water from the milk separates out. If you can get larger eggs, with larger yolks, that will make for a much better finished product.

I looked at it and it was huge. I had to use both hands it was so big.
Much larger than the ones I usually have.
Much larger than the 1/4 pounder hamburger.
