So we just got more snow and freezing rain here, however, I'm thinking that once I can get my bike out, I might start biking again. I haven't biked in a few years. However, as someone who just got their ears pierced over the winter, is there anything I should or should not wear or do while biking with piercings? Like would wearing hoops be a no-no?

As long as your earrings lock good you should be fine. I wear small huggy ones most of the time and I wear them inside a motorcycle helmet. I've never lost one of them. The only stud type earrings that I managed to keep are the ones that I got when I got my ears pierced. And they locked really good. Those earrings with the part that goes through the year that looks like a fish hook if you put a couple of those rubber stopper thingies on the back they might be fine. I've never tried that.

I think I'd be sure to wear earrings that have a backing or that lock like hoops. I'd be afraid that those with just curved wires might get blown out by the wind or shaken out by the jostling movement of your body. I've lost a few just by getting caught in my hair or shaking my head. Better safe than sorry.
