I do enjoy them. My mom made it when I was a kid, but she called it something else. As I recall, it was the same thing.

No, I prefer cottage pies. The difference is the kind of mince used. In a Shepherd's pie the mince comes from Lamb. Baby sheep. Hence the name. In a Cottage pie, it's basically the exact same thing but the mince used comes from cows. Not baby cows. Tastes almost identical. But I really am not a fan of eating baby... anything.

I wonder if shepards eat Shepard's pie in their cottages.

I think my mom called it hamburger pie. I don't eat lamb, but the hamburger was good.
