"The 409-page report falsely claims medical transition is harmful and unproven, and promotes 'exploratory therapy'—a rebranded version of conversion practices widely condemned by major medical associations."

"The HHS report claims that gender-affirming care lacks evidence of benefit, but makes this argument by dismissing peer-reviewed research... It labels puberty blockers and hormone treatments as unethical interventions pushed by activists rather than doctors."

"They can call it whatever they want," said Kellan Baker... "The idea is the same—it is a practice with a predetermined goal: to try to change who someone is."

"Today's report seeks to erase decades of research and learning, replacing it with propaganda," said Shannon Minter.

"This report amounts to nothing more than forcing the same discredited idea of conversion therapy," said Sarah Kate Ellis.

"It is deeply troubling... to see the country's top authority on health publish a collection of recommendations that seemingly have no basis in following established health care best practices," said Casey Pick of The Trevor Project.

"This is conversion therapy under a different name," said Kellan Baker. "It's a political document pretending to be science."

They are all scared of science, and psychology. Every person who actually takes time off the golf course to look into this sees that it's something real.

Populist nonsense is the best way to get re-elected. Not necessarily the best way to do what's right for the people you were sworn in to serve.

Can we convert Trump to not be such a giant douchebag? No... then that's proof the whole thing doesn't work. :P

"Fact Check" is kind of the two words that sum up any Trump administration. It's kind of sad. :P

Translates to Nazi-ism and Eugenics.  As a starting place.

Young people typically rebel against older generations.
This report is only going to add fuel to the fire, not put it out!

They, as in we don't know who they are because they won't put their names on the report,
are trying to tell young people they are risking jobs and relationships by transitioning.
I can't see any young people buying that from this administration.

He is not the country's top authority on health.  He is the country's top promoter of politically-motivated anti-science BS, and knows nothing about health.  It is time we stopped giving these clowns respect that they don't deserve.
