I am amazed how many different stews exist. Scouse is a lamb or beef stew that is made with vegetables that typically include potatoes, carrots and onions. It is a British food.
A bowl of scouse is frequently accompanied by pickled beetroot, red cabbage and a thick slice of bread.

In terms of the food... I've never heard that term applied to a foodstuff before. I think I would like it very much, though.
