Title: Started my Journey yesterday

Hi y'all. I started my journey yesterday with t-blockers (bicalutamide). The estradiol script needs to be fixed so I can start that. Ready to be that girl.

I know the changes will take time and its a marathon not a race

So glad you mentioned it's a marathon and not a race. Take your time to explore this new world and find your comfort zones. It took some time for me to figure all this out and chose the best path. I'm very happy with the path I'm on ... Best wishes sister! :)

Congratulations, Kyla! I'm so happy for you!! Understanding that we need to give ourselves time and space to adjust to and enjoy the changes is the perfect approach.

Congratulations Kyla!  I never saw myself as a long distance runner but I'm 13 years into this one and settled into a stable cruise.

It's been a week on the Bic and yesterday I started estradiol injections yay. After I did the injection I silently cried a minute as this has been +-20years in the making. I'm super lucky to have a supportive husband, but do wonder what comes ahead. I'll cross that bridge when/if it comes to it.

Also, just finished my schooling to become a nurse practitioner this week and am now studying for boards, which I'll take next month. Hoping the hormone fluctuation doesn't effect my studying habbits negatively.
