Title: MTF fem figure
Post by: Robbyv213 on June 25, 2025, 04:45:58 PM
Not sure if this topic already has been made else where. Figured I'd make a post to gather all information and resources for this topic.

The topic is how to MTF feminine figure to either lose body weight/muscle mass to have a more feminine figure or fat cycle so estrogen will have periods of excess fat to redistribute to areas that would promote a feminine figure.

Any advice on nutrition, exercise, and or resources would be much appreciated.

Again I apologize if this thread/topic has already been made else where.

I'm currently struggling with trying to lose muscle mass to have a more feminine figure. I know there are some people that say they are personal trainers and or coaches specifically for trans individuals to meet their body goals through diet and exercise. They can potentially cost an arm and a leg.

Also since I know my body and how it responds, I know it gains weight easily and doesn't like to let go of fat. So I'm cautious of try to do any periods of fat cycling since I know how my body will not want to lose the weight during a period of lower calories.

Again advice and or suggestions or resources would be appreciated thanks

Wear clothes that give the appearance of a feminine figure.
GGs wear shaping clothes.  Shapeware for women.  I don't need them but I know they exist.

I wear light colored bottoms like a white pleated skirt.  This makes my bottom look bigger.
Wearing dark colors will do the opposite.
When I do wear black pants I pair them with black shoes to provide a longer line.

Women spend a lot of time choosing clothes that look good.
Men don't.  Dating sites will tell you that tall men do well on dating sites.
There are a lot of different styles for differently shaped women.

Choosing appropriate clothes will go a long way towards looking feminine.

I found this article interesting.

Not sure how effective the key points are at losing muscle and or building a more feminine figure. But one common theme is patience and consistency just like any other goal takes time.

Another article suggesting a lot of the same information for muscle loss.

A article about Gabbi Tufts journey from WWE superstar to being her authentic self living life as a woman

https://www.businessinsider.com/gabbi-tuft-before-after-trans-wwe-wrestler-body-transformation-2024-1

From what Gabbi said about her own personal experience, seems to be a lot different than what's suggested in most circles in how to lose muscle mass when transitioning MTF.

That is an interesting article. It almost sounds dangerous. But you can't argue with success. I wonder if any others followed a similar protocol and what their results were.

https://www.aamc.org/news/why-we-know-so-little-about-women-s-health

This may contribute to health care disparities, as biological sex can play a role in physiological, metabolic, hormonal, and even cellular differences that can influence how diseases present and the effectiveness of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Failure to study medications and other interventions in a broad sampling of women has contributed to women experiencing adverse effects from medications at twice the rate of men. One 2013 study found that women with metal hip replacements were 29% more likely than men to experience implant failure, possibly due to anatomical differences and inadequate testing in women. And, despite heart disease being the leading cause of death in the United States for both men and women, the medical field only recognized that women experience different symptoms of the disease than men when the American Heart Association published a Guide to Preventive Cardiology for Women in 1999. Separate from biological sex differences, women also are less likely to receive appropriate prevention and management of heart disease due to gender bias.

That's the main reason that I'm getting the bariatric surgery is because my body doesn't like to let go of the fat as well.  However I'd like to have a feminine figure as well, because even in dresses I've been noticing that my belly tends to stick out quite a bit, so while I do have that womanly shape when seen from the front or back, from the side there's that roundness that competes with my breasts.
