I toss celery and carrots in the slow cooker when cooking beef.  Sometimes onions as well.

Soft celery, such as in a good soup, I like that.

I use celery a lot. It forms part of the mirepoix trio with carrots and onions and is the base for many stocks, soups, stews and sauces. It's nice in chilli con carne too. And on salads of course.

A nice crunchy bit of sweet/nutty celery is tasty. Trouble is most of the stuff they sell in supermarkets is hard tasteless forced grown rubbish

Maybe with cheese but mainly I don't enjoy it though mixing it in a stew or something isn't bad
