Title: Estrogen delivery method and dosage after bottom surgery
Post by: ChrissyRyan on August 20, 2025, 01:58:46 PM
After your bottom surgery, did your estrogen delivery method and dosage change?

Went from a shot to a patch?

Switched to an estradiol cream?

Has your dosage changed?

No, no change.  I did, of course, stop cyproterone (anti-androgen).

The method did not change, patches. However in the past year the dosage has been cut in half. My endocrinologist says CIS women my age (71) have very low estrogen levels. So I should not. With my family history of storks, the high estrogen levels just increases my risk of stokes.

Makes good sense to play it safe.
