Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE) called out Fox News for calling her a "transgender Democrat" in the headline of an article that had nothing to do with her trans identity or LGBTQ+ issues.
The Fox article was about her criticism of Donald Trump's attacks on mail-in voting, where she said that he "is taking notes from his favorite dictator" and that the administration is engaged in "an all-out assault not just on free and fair elections—but on American democracy itself."
The title of the article is: "Transgender Democrat accuses Trump of 'all-out assault' against 'American democracy,'" and the first sentence of the article starts: "Democratic Rep. Sarah McBride of Delaware, who identifies as a transgender woman, accused..."
"What does my identity have to do with the fact that Trump is trying to rig our elections?" McBride asked on X. "Nothing —unless you're as obsessed with identity politics as the right wing."

This girl isn't going to catch a break, no matter what she does. Because trans hate is one of the easiest deflections that politicians can pull these days, to appease frothing, angry voters. No matter what country it is.
It reminds me of the movie "Gladiator".
The quote from Senator Gracchus about the emperor Commodus.
