Title: How have your vegetable gardens produced this year?

How have your vegetable gardens produced this year?

Lots of veggies or less this year as compared to prior years?

Did you try to grow something you never tried to grow?

I am pleased with my first attempt at growing bush green beans.  I have had a lot of green beans and there are some on the plants.

We were planning to clear a small area for a veggie garden, but didn't get around to it.  It would have been a waste of time this year with the extreme drought.

Our one good crop was the haskap berries.  We harvested enough berries from six bushes to keep me in weekend breakfast haskap jam for the next year.  And we got enough black currants for a few jars of that jam.

Nothing has done well apart from courgette, no amount of watering makes up for lack of rain.
