I know it very revealing, but I'm in really good shape and I'm young at heart,I do like that it shows a little bosom to show that I'm a woman

Last year one of the young women selling door to door saw me in my crochet crop top and short shorts and gave me the thumbs up!  I'm now 62.

I've been eating more to get my weight back over 7-1/2 stones.

I'd say if you're comfortable wearing it, then wear it. In my opinion it fits you well.

Age appropriate clothing for one may not work for another.

You look very nice in that outfit but then you need to
know where and when it would be appropriate to wear it.
Certainly OK for a casual outing but in a business or more formal
event .... probably not.

I see that you have just registered as a member here and this

I agree with Danielle.  This outfit is not likely a good one for most business or formal or informal situations, but might be just fine in casual situations.  You have a nice look about you, it is just a matter of where it is appropriate to wear this outfit.  Insofar as age appropriateness, well, that is a cultural and sub cultural thing.  Simply be wise in your choices.

On the other hand, you look gorgeous. Don't let anyone tell you what or how to wear your clothes.

I have been recently teaching at school (kids from 12-17) some sessions on nutrition and self image and the impact of social media in the way we look at ourselves and one of the videos that I used was "Dove | Beauty on your own terms #MyBeautyMySay" (look it up in youtube). "my beauty, myself"

It is a clear message for everybody.

Hi, Rhonda.  If it comes in your size, you can wear it. 

Your question is really, "What will other people think of me if I wear this outfit?"  That depends on where you wear it, as well as whose opinions you care about.

I would say, if you like it, go for it.

I have never, ever been one to subscribe to the whole "age appropriate" thing. Age is just a number and the only thing you do by thinking this way is to try and appease what other people think about themselves by trying to put you in a box. Girl, if you've got it... flaunt it. And if you don't... get it, then flaunt it. And be happy doing so.

You only get one chance at life. Make it what you want and what makes you happy, and to hell with what other people think. Live like you're 18 every day. If they don't get it, that's their problem.

It's not a matter of age, it's a matter of how you look.

Personally, I couldn't pull that off.  But I've worn plenty of outfits that are typically seen on much younger gals.  Ignore the fashion police.  Wear what feels right for you.

You are a delight.  If you have it, flaunt it!  You are slender enough.  Not that I'm shaming heavier folks.  You must be slender enough, with good posture, confidence and energy.
