Title: What do you think the best thing would be?

Hi everyone. To be honest I don't really care about politics and never did. I'm just curious what people think the best thing that could happen for us would be?
I think it's very obvious that Trump is only taking away from transgender rights. I'm also very doubtful that another president is really going to change things for us either. People don't seem to be interested in forward progress. The thing that seems to interest people is a tyrannical leader.
So what do you think the best next step would be for us at this point? Personally I just don't involve myself in politics. I just want to know what other people are thinking?

I have been telling people for years, Elect me as Queen, and I will fix this crap. ;D
The problem with politics is, first, that most politicians are lawyers. Second, even the young bloods who enter politics with great ideals and hopes to fix things quickly learn they can get nothing done without sucking up to those already in power. They get drawn into the "club" and their ideals mostly go out the window.
There are always exceptions, of course. But generally speaking, that is what happens.
Some time ago, there was a political party that was focused on removing money from politics. It was called GOOOH (Get Out Of Our House). It was a grassroots movement, and there is a book that explains how it works. They gained momentum, but couldn't compete against the big parties. They were absorbed by the Tea Party movement, which was then absorbed by the Republican Party. That put us back to Square One.
And here we are, looking for another alternative.
So elect me as your Queen, and I will abolish political parties, PACs, lobbyists, political donations, and gifts, and make voting great again. ;D
