Yes! It's a form of 'white' noise. It seems to help reduce my tinnitus, and it can be calming. I also like to sit outside and listen to the rain.

Hi Everyone
Yes I do, but then I like the 'hum' of a star ship engine maybe the vibration in the background. When one is on the bridge deck of the star ship Enterprise.
Best Wishes Always

Thinking about the sound of running water brings back vivid memories of countless wilderness excursions I've taken in the mountains of Southern California, the Sierra Nevada and Cascades, the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and New Mexico, and the Adirondacks of Upstate New York.
After hours of hiking on difficult terrain, nothing soothes body and soul like the gurgling sound of a mountain stream. I can still taste the water. Cold, crisp and refreshing. The freeze dried food I'd eat always tasted better.
I miss those places. They are far away now. Time for discovery in my new back yard.
