Title: For tops, nightgowns, and dresses, what type of sleeves do you wear most often?

For tops, nightgowns, and dresses, what type of sleeves do you wear most often?

By type, that can mean various things, such as:

Sleeveless, cold shoulder, long sleeves, short sleeves, 3/4 sleeves,
Button up, enabling a longer sleeve to be moved upwards and buttoned for it to become shorter, puffy sleeves where the sleeve meets the shoulder, and so on.

I don't wear sleveless tops very often, though I do sometimes.

I have a lovely sleveless dress that doesn't make me look fat and doesn't make my shoulders look meaty.  But I usually wear a cardigan over it.  And I have a sleeveless T-shirt that is just the thing on scorching hot days.

Usually, I'll wear anything else.  Long sleeves, 3/4 length, short sleeves, or cap sleeves.

Considering Lori's past occupation of driving tanks, perhaps she favors tank tops?

😄 I prefer to keep my shoulders covered, so short sleeves.

If I am out in the creek, then I wear a very lightweight long-sleeve t-shirt. The purpose is to keep my arms covered to protect them from the sun. Because I am working in the water, the sleeves do not get uncomfortably hot.

I have a smock that is sleeveless and two dresses with spaghetti straps, but I don't wear them out. I don't have the legs for dresses. I have only recently gotten to being ok wearing shorts. Progress!

Short sleeve or sleeveless tee shirts for work. I have a long sleeve blouse and a couple pullover tops. I like my nightgowns short with short sleeves, otherwise they are too hot. I have a dressier marble colored V neck top I like to wear when I go to the city. My tops for going to the city tend to run more girly. I do prefer a short sleeve type over long though.

For nightgowns that are designed to keep me warm, I prefer long sleeves.

Usually short sleeves or sleeveless but I do have the odd long sleeve. If wearing a jumper or long sleeve top I opt for strappy camisole tops underneath. For night wear, on the odd occasion when I wear it, I go for spaghetti strap camisoles or a chemise

A girl like me can get chilly, so I go for the longer sleeves for the nightgowns.

I am not confident enough in my chest and shoulder area to be comfortable with anything else than short sleeves and crew necks. As for the neckline I have to deal with a lower neckline than I'm really comfortable with but most of my dresses are short sleeves or just enough to cover the shoulder.

My breast growth is so little I am probably just over the limit for being able to walk around topless

Usually short sleeves, but in the middle of winter,
long sleeves are the right choice.

It's so cold where you are Danielle I think I would wear triple layers and fur knickers to boot! Definitely no spaghetti straps if I went there!

I wear just panties. My wife goes from just panties to PJs. For a long time it was just nothing but with heat and humidity I need a little absorption

In cooler weather, heavier knit long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve pull over tops, or Henley style long sleeve tops.  In the warmer months, mostly cap sleeve tops.  Bare shoulders are not really appropriate in the office, especially for a guy.

Nightgowns, short or long, are almost all spaghetti straps.  Thick fully down comforter's are for keeping warm in the winter.  A good down comforter is like sleeping under a light soft warm cloud.

Hi Everyone

Anything that is not long sleeve.  The reason being is that long sleeves are too hot for me to wear.  If I was living in cold climate (think Alaska) I might reconsider.

Even in Sydney where I once worked I wore short sleeves.  Yet when I travelled to work I had a jacket that of course was long sleeved.  This was an exception but not the rule.

Ah memories, I love cardigans or similar and of course they have long sleeves!

Best Wishes Always
