Have you eaten what are essentially open faced cheeseburgers named The Slopper?
They are often topped with onions, green chile sauce, and even fries.
Supposedly they originated in Pueblo, Colorado.
Did you like it?

Maybe Lori might try one! Seems like it may not be hard to find for her.

Never heard them called The slopper before but open burgers have been a thing in the UK for donkeys years.
I think the thinking was it was less calories - at least that was how it was marketed. You don't see them on the menu's that often now but pretty sure you can request it. Or you could just chuck the bun to one side instead of being a diva!

McDonald's has came out with a different double quarter pounder throughout the USA.
It is not called the cardiac burger or anything like that but I think the Big Arch.
It has three slices of white cheddar cheese. The regular double quarter pounder has American cheese.
These are too much for me, I have not ordered either. I can eat a big steak if I take part of it home for later eating.

So it's basically a burger without buns? Is that what it is? Would be messy if you eat it without a knife and fork. And using a knife and fork with a burger is a crime. It's meant for your hands. I think I will stick to the classic version.

Maybe the buns are on the bottom of it all. I have not had one of these sloppers.
