What have been the recent additions to your wardrobe?

Did you get these at a fantastic sale price? 

Was this new clothing for work or for outside of work?

I recently bought three pairs of jeans and five or six Fall sweaters. The sweaters are soft and warm, but thin. Not warm enough for full-on winter, but perfect while the seasons are changing.

I recently purchased 2 pairs of leather knee high boots. One with a short heel, and one with a 2 3/4 inch heel. I have always loved the way tall boots look. These are my first high heeled shoes ever, so I'm spending some time learning how to walk in them before I take them outside!

I, too, love the way they look. I have two pairs, both with low heels. One is black leather with gold buckles, and I get so many compliments on it. The brand is by Thalia. I didn't know it at the time, but she is a Mexican singer with her own clothing line. The other pair of boots is brown suede. They are so soft and comfortable, I have almost worn them out.

I got some nice floral full briefs as they keep everything comfy and look nice an femme. Also got some care bears leggings and top so i can wear to charm my bf as he loves them hehe. These I'll wear out and about as I got plenty for work already!

I have not even tried on boots which go up that high.  I am glad you enjoy them!

 I have never worn a rugby shirt.  Maybe something similar, but it was not marketed as a rugby shirt.  Sweatshirts, yes.

I recently got a nice, warm hooded sweatshirt, a cute T, a T shirt bra, a camisole, and a house dress. 

I am thinking of perhaps splurging and getting a blazer but I should wait, so I will.

I got a rather attractive shiny smooth short red nightgown.  It only goes down mid thigh, while standing I should say.  I usually sleep in long cotton nightgowns or PJs as they keep me warmer.
Unless of course I am feeling rather warm.

I just received this evening a red camisole with lace trim, red panties, and a red bra.
I look forward to seeing how they look and fit.  A more colorful set of clothing for sure for me, at least for "under clothing."  They feel nice when touching them.  I have a nice red blouse so this is when I may wear this "set" of totally color coordinated garments.

The red bra is another color of one of the bras I find comfy to wear.  So it should fit well.

I just picked up a couple of Levi Icon Skirts at Levi's outlet here in town. The outlet had a buy one, get one free sale during Black Friday.  They are a mid thigh length A-line skirt. Both are denim, one with a finished hem, one with a cutoff hem. 

I have a couple more of these skirts, I really like how they look and fit.  One of them is a dark purple corduroy that actually looks really, really good.  They're a little shorter than what I generally wear but still an acceptable length.

It had some red panties but they wore out.  This time I decided to go for the red combination.  They did not come together in a set, I selected each one separately.


I decided to wear all three and a nice red blouse and black skirt while working today.
A pretty necklace and bracelet completed the outfit. It is a very nice look overall but of course, no one sees what is underneath.  Guess I could have wore my usual bra, etc. but I said why not just wear all of these new items today?  After all, I bought them.

Also I got 2 dresses that are similar to the German peasant dress one in slate blue and one in black. Also I have just bought a black/grey layered skirt.

Right now I am busy trying to replace the female tshirts that I bought to pass off as male clothing. Now I want obviously feminine clothing which is part of the reason I no longer wear pants.

I enjoy wearing pretty dresses.  I still like wearing pants, PJs, jeans, and shorts though.

I am liking cap sleeves more and more. 

My red top I have on today has a big red bow in the front as part of the blouse and it actually does look nice.

I'm similar to you and prefer dresses and skirts to really push femininity. I do though like nice girly leggings or flare bottom pants say for work.

A nice low cut tight top and wearing pants high waisted works wonders though if not in dresses etc.

Got a cute pinafore dress which I love. Also added some cute leg warmers to add that UK  winter touch.

My slopey shoulders not ideal for this dress but glad they are like that as less masculine!

I have an old pair like that in brown suede. They were my first pair of boots. I love that style.

Just picked up a black satin skirt that was on Boxing week clearance for $7 (regular $20). 

Getting more brave with this blouse. Also I needed a strapless bra to make it work. No problems at all, but I'm only a 38B so support isn't critical!

Square neck dresses and tops can be quite appealing.  I do not have one.

I know all about the B cup size not being big at all but they sure are nice compared to the flatness I used to see when I looked down!  So, I am grateful for what I now have.

The straps do not provide much support at all, the bands are what really do the supporting.

I'm still waiting for the delivery but a store was selling ladies T shirts for $3 each. Nothing fancy but I needed a bit of a refresh for next summer so I ordered 7 of them. I think $21 for 7 t shirts is a steal of a deal.

Delivery tracking says it arrives by Wednesday.

I don't have super high expectations considering the price but the store that was selling them usually carries decent quality (it's one of those apparel stores you find in the mall).

Modest, conservative, not drawing attention, simple.

If I wear a crop top, it will be a t shirt that has numerous drawings of vegetables on it.

I'm not sure why I bought a wool tartan skirt, but it might have been because I was on my way to a big family gathering and I arrived way too early. So I went shopping. Guess I needed some comfort threads.

I had a top that fit the same way. I used a push-up bra and added the chicken filet inserts to get them to pop up better.

I bought some nice, loose, floral print, linen, summer pants at my favourite second-hand store.  It's dangerous to go into that store (or the restaurant next door, because it's, like, right next door!), because they have such gorgeous stuff.

I recently couldn't hold back at a sale and got myself four new clothing items: a white denim skirt, a really cute A-line tweed mini skirt, a black mini dress and a tweed skort. Now I really need to stop spending money!

I took some two leggings and a number of panties and a few skirts and dresses to a shelter early this evening. They were in good condition, just a little too big.  I wanted to keep the panties that had little ribbons near the top in front, but parted with them.  I hope that most of these will find their way to women who need them.  I will sort through my pants maybe this weekend to see if some of those can go.

I went shopping yesterday and tried on some shorts.  They were nice but seemed rather short!
They had a four inch inseam.  Yes, there are shorter shorts.  I was surprised how I looked wearing them (better than I thought); however, I decided to get longer shorts.  More modest, for sure.

A pair of stilletto heel black suede ankle boots and, joy of joys, a pair of nude strappy high heeled sandals that fit and are comfortable enough for an evenings wear! That has been a bit of a holy grail for me!

Also a new silver chain and a nice cowl neck loose apricot jumper but that won't arrive until tomorrow.

I've been treating myself!

A nudes bralette, I can wear from time to time and two new anklet, one of which has my initial and a heart

I bought a new pair of panties and shorts yesterday.  Nothing spectacular but the right size and the shorts were on sale!  I probably will get more underwear later this month as you need to replace them from time to time. 

The panties have two tiny ribbons on the front left and right side and the shorts had a matching cloth belt with an O ring.  Not sure if I like that belt but the red shorts fit nicely, has pleats, one back pocket, and were of a modest length.

I ordered myself a dress, boots, and stockings/leggings from midnight hour.

I bought the whole look.

Love that Charlotte! Think I would opt for a tartan skirt instead of shorts but otherwise its fab. My calves are too chunky for knee boots unfortunately :(

I wonder how much clothing is enough.  There gets to be a point where you are mostly replacing old stuff, items that do not fit well, clothes with stains, holes, rips, etc.

You only need so many pants, shirts, jeans, chinos, skirts, shorts, skorts, dresses, shoes, boots, outerwear and underwear.  Plus specialty clothing, like professional, swimwear, etc.

If you keep stuff long enough it may come back in style too!

No such thing as too many clothes, only wardrobes that are too small!

Oh dear I've easily got over 100 items of clothing! It's problematic for sure.

I ordered a short sleeve short nightgown to use some nights as it gets warmer.
This one has a few buttons and some eyelet lace.  It probably will just be long enough to cover my buns.  It should arrive later today.

My sweetie likes the two shorter gowns I have.  They have spaghetti straps and very shiny smooth material.  I always keep one at her place as well as a couple of other gowns and a long kimono robe, plus some of my other clothes.  She has some things at my place too.

Most of my shoes are made by Clark's. 

Sometimes I may get a pair (not Clark's) from a scrubs uniform store, those would be what might be called professional medical shoes, because they are also comfy.  If you must stand a lot or be on your feet a lot (versus a lot of desk work), those kind of shoes, also sometimes called nurse's shoes, can be just what you can wear comfortably all day.  I shop for those in person.

Boots come from elsewhere.  I shop for those only in person as I do not wish to return any. 
I would buy Clark's shoes online.  I return some.

A gorgeous turquoise and pink lace bra and knicker set from Pour Moi. Pretty racy!

A flowing long boho hippy type skirt, a pair of wedge heel summer sandals, some new clip on earings and a fake nose ring. I kind of like the nose ring on me, bit of a surprise.

Yes, the boyfriend cut or style.  For shirts too but the buttons are on the proper side.

I do not go for the body piercings, other than earrings.  But many do like them.  I find them generally to be distracting but that is just me. 

But I do not care for the purple hair either or white or black nail polish.

I wouldn't have thought I would have liked it to be honest, I bought it on a whim. I would only have that, my ears and my belly button done, not interested in getting lots of piercings done but the nose ring (not a septum one by the way) is a delicate thin small ring around one nostril if you know what I mean.

I've always liked nipped piercings. If I get on HRT onve I have breasts I'm getting my nipped pierced.

I went out for underwear yesterday and came back with a 3 pack of lace trimmed strappy vests because I'm still working out how not to get cold in my new clothes. Plus I like a lace trimmed cami or vest.

Oooh lord no! Mine are way too sensitive for that. I can imagine them getting caught a lot on clothing. No thank you.

I tried on my boyfriend cut jeans and WOW I love them. I can't wait to wear them our! They fit amazingly. Maybe a bit big in the hips but if I start HRT they will become perfect

It would be great to have a shapely rear but not too wide and not too big.  Just shapely and with a nice, proportional breast to waist to hip ratio.

I ordered a couple more bras in yellow and black. Already have in blue and pink. These wired, padded, plunge bras fit very nicely for me. I love this style too.

I see these kind of things in the juniors section.  Sometimes I check that section because there are size overlaps in the clothing sections, or clothing are misplaced on the racks.

How can you present as male though?  Must be the beard.

Your dress and shorts look like I probably should not be wearing those styles but you will likely enjoy how they look on you.  I do not think it would look right on me to get shorts with a lot of lace on the legs. 

I looked at a pinafore dress with a cross straps in the back, it was not denim, it was plaid, and cute, but for now at least, I passed on it.

I've been living out of a very full large suitcase for the last five months.  Every wardrobe addition has to be scrutinized.  I recently broke down and bought a couple of travel friendly summer dresses, a pair of denim shorts, a pair of white Chuck Taylors, and a handmade silver bracelet.  I also bought an international size cabin bag to make my travels a little easier.

Frilly bits can be lacey and i love lacey bloomers a lot. But sonetimes frilly bits are of the normal material too. Bows just add the cute touch. I found a skort with bloomer shorts built in. They peek out the bottom whilst wearing which is super cute!

Cute clothes are nice at times to wear.  I have nothing that resembles Care Bears designs or other characters but I do have t shirts with flowers and pretty designs.  I do not think I would wear anything that hangs low so the panties show all the time (I would get longer skirts) but my skorts are good at providing some modesty when bending over and such.  But that is to cover up things not showing the undies.

Floral designs are so pretty though too. I've seen very cute cardigans with floral embroidery and some denim shorts with a floral print all over. They are all very tempting. Flowers are surely one of the most beautiful things on earth. I love them very much.

Ear piercing. I hemmed and hawed for months about until my wife dragged me to the mall and shoved me into Claire's. It was the right way, like yanking off a band-aid. Suddenly I had studs I could not remove for several weeks. That was in a way my first real act of transition.

I have worn it out in "me"mode which is guy with some touches.

I also bought some black ankle boots with a low chunky heel.

And a bright countoured blouse that flares at the hips to flatter my obviously male shape.  But the neck line is a bit low showing scars so I'll need to use concealer for that.

This is something that I shouldn't wear out because dressing is confined to home.

These little steps can keep help you sane and give some relief when you can't come out to the world Petunia.

BUT, I would be careful pushing boundaries so soon given your partners reaction. Maybe let her see you with these things at home first for a while to let her get used to the idea? I don't know really, I hope someone who has been on your journey can provide you with some input on this. I understand the desire to put yourself out there for the world to see and I understand how afirming this stuff can be but to coin a phrase from my neck of the woods "gan canny" i.e. tread carefully.

More fascinating than boring. This echoes my own journey closely in both clothing and attitude. 

I negotiated with myself for years about what what I allowed myself to wear and be. 

I started with a site called Pink Femme that had 40 steps to transition. Having this structure was encouraging as well as terrifying, and got me started. The first step with lips was using lip balm several times a day to get used to the feeling of carrying and using a tube of lip product. Then I went to tinted lip balms, which was invisible to anyone except my terrified self looking into a magnifying mirror. Clinique products progressed from Nude Pop to Blush Pop to Love Pop. Cherry Pop is my edge now. 

Ankle boots were my first really female shoes with an almond-shaped toe and one pair in blush. Once I wore them once I couldn't resist wearing them again and again. 

That blouse sounds amazing! Only recently have I found joy instead of fear in lower necklines and the peplum flare is great for anyone with smallish hips. 

Let's talk about language now, friend. I've shifted the way I talk about myself, both self-talk and with others. I used to say I had male hips. Now I have narrow hips. I used focus on my bald spot but now I have developed my curls that frame my face and I have wigs. My watershed moment was when I was laughingly referring to myself as an old man. I had recently changed my pronouns to they/them and adopted the name Krista in queer spaces. A young friend said, "Krista, why are you calling yourself a man when you are not he/him?" They also pointed out that I was often self-deprecating. I had thought I was being transparent, but I was protecting myself by lowering my expectations.

I shifted my thinking from "trying to pass as a woman" to "enjoying enhancing myself as a trans woman". 

I just figured out how to post a profile photo. Can my host site for photos be a Google Drive? I'll figure that out next. I'm 64 and I don't pass, but I have some awesome assets! My shape is good and easily enhanced with breast forms. I have a great smile that looks good in red lipstick. My thighs are all kinds of sexy. 

And as a type I fight now to balance this with all the things I don't like about my looks. But I'm aware of the fight!

Today was therapy day but due to mucked up times I had my brows and lashes done first.

I wore all femme clothes but in androg style.

The brow lady complimented me on jewelry and I love what she did for me.

My psych noted how I looked, dressed in all black with ankel boots and thought I looked liked a musician.

But quite androg.
She clocked all femme clothes. Brows as well.

Susan, we talked about how I inadvertantly came close to blowing up our marriage through mixed messages.

I love having my breasts and putting on my bras before going out.

I ordered a casual purple pleated plaid skirt yesterday.  I have one that is red but it is getting a bit worn in spots, unsure why that happened.  This new one has a side zipper.  Not for work as it is a bit too short for business wear.  It is not that short but too short for work I think.  This will go well with one of my solid color blouses.  I will see after it arrives.

The purple skirt came in today.  It is not too short, it fits nicely, but it is not for the office.  It looked nice with a solid colored blouse, and a blouse with a sweater, and a blouse with a blazer.  I think I will keep my red plaid skirt for now but may replace it with another red one.  I do not wear it much but it is showing some wear.

What goes around often comes around again in for some fashion.  Unsure about the Spice Girls specifically though.  I did not pay attention to them.

I cannot think of any clothes that I really need to get now.  But it is fun to go shopping in person and looking online.

Are you finding yourself scrutinizing female coworkers outfits? I'm trying to determine the clothing norms. I mostly want to follow them but if I decide to push on them, I need to know I'm doing that. 

I got a really cute summer top. Also on way some pink 3/4 length capri pants to go with it another time.

Yesterday I was very "out" in a knee-length pleated blue skirt. I loved it so much that I wore another skirt today. I'm so hooked. 

We are going on a cruise and one of the nights is white night.

I bought a pair of white jeggings and some sterling silver zirconia earrings.

I'll have to get a pair of white panties as they have ultraviolet lighting which can expose mismatch coloured underwear

I tried to find a feminine version of the overshirt but I wasn't prepaired to pay the price.

After realizing a few days ago going braless is no longer an option, and that my body is changing fast, I bought two new bras that were on clearance, new undies, and a pink headband.

I bought a short sleeve nightgown.  It is nice.

I got four new T-shirts with slightly political slogans. Nothing directly at anyone or anything, just generic commentary about the current climate.

WOW how timely, I just ordered a bunch of new clothes, mostly casual clothes I can wear all the time even in male mode...Men were flared jeans right? I mostly bought a bunch of tops. I am plus size and Torrid had a big sale so I bought a lot of stuff. Do men were denim skirts with Fuchsi tops?  Sorry I am really excited about all my new tops.
