Title: Cruise life

In my new member introduction post I mentioned that one of my big escapes is to dress as a woman when my wife and I go on a cruise. My wife is somewhat accepting of my gender fluidity and is ok if I step out as Jill occasionally.
I will see if I can figure out how to post a few pictures from recent cruises. I don't take too many pictures so I don't have much evidence lol.
I find cruise ships to be a reasonably safe space to dress as a woman because ships have lots of security, the staff are incredibly well trained on customer service including interacting with trans people and even the guests tend to be chill - everyone is in happy vacation mode.

Ok this picture was taken earlier in the year on MSC Meraviglia out of New York to the Caribbean. I was in the buffet section later in the evening. Not too crowded but enough people around.
This is the last time I used the dark hair wig because it makes me look too old.

These two were on the Celebrity Beyond which is a stunning ship. Please excuse the blue lighting on my face but I was under LED lights in a lounge area.
In the other one I am smirking because my wife was out with me.

This is the most recent which was Halloween on the MSC Seascape and I dressed as Wonder Woman. Loved every minute of it
I have covered my wife's face because I don't have her permission to post her picture.
Took me over an hour for the makeup.

This is going to be a long shot... but just wondering if anyone on this forum is cruising the end of the month. I'm going to be on the Carnival Conquest of out Miami departs Feb 27th for 3 nights.
If anyone is looking to book a short notice trip - go for it. You will have an ally on board.

You look great and I have to agree
I have gone on several cruises and have found dressing a very safe place
My wife is usually asleep when I venture out to the casino or club

My solo cruise is next week and my wife leaves tomorrow to visit her family so I will have a week to myself to get ready. My wife has been very sweet about my cruise and she got me a cute pair of daisy duke short shorts. She seems genuinely happy for me that I'm getting time to be a woman fulltime if I want to. She also wants me to wear the bikini she gifted me recently.
I did mention in a previous post that I am both excited and scared for the trip. I've been out in public as a woman multiple times but it's always later at night so it's more quiet and it's a limited amount of time. Doing 3 days fulltime is a leap for me but something I have to do. I've been in the closet my whole life.

I hope you have a great experience, and I suspect you will.
I also predict that most people will not be offended or nasty to you. Later, you will realize it was no big deal, which will fuel your motivation to do it more often.

My cruise embarks on Friday so I have to be up around 3.30am to be in time for a very early morning flight to Fort Lauderdale and then take a shuttle to port of Miami.
I will be travelling in a more androgynous look so I can breeze through airport security and immigration. Will get more glammed up after I board the ship. Wish me luck.

Just a quick check in as an update because you've all been so encouraging.
I boarded the ship lunchtime and went to my cabin to change and get pretty. Took a deep breath and walked out the door to attend the sail way party. Hundreds of people around.
So far so good. I'd say 90% don't react at all - no different to if I was in boy mode. Maybe 10% take a second look but all of them go back to what they were doing 2 seconds prior. No big deal.

I think 10% of people give us a second look, then ignore us, no matter what we are wearing or how we look. Relax and have fun!
