Merry Christmas, Devlyn, and thank you for the warm wishes. I truly appreciate you taking the time to share them with everyone here, and especially for starting a thread in a place that lets everyone respond!
And thank you as well, Davina. It's always good to see you, and your kindness and steady presence are appreciated more than you know.
For everyone else—happy or sad, with bio family or chosen family, or on your own—please remember that you are always welcome here. We will love you exactly as you come, and support you as much or as little as you need. We are family, even if you don't yet think of us that way.
Whether you are celebrating Christmas 🎄, Hanukkah 🕎, Yule 🌲, the Winter Solstice 🌌, Kwanzaa 🤎 , or observing the season in your own way, you are seen and valued here. Warm wishes to all, and gentle thoughts for all those for whom these holidays are like a bad relationship—somewhat complicated :P
With Love and support!

TO ALL OF OUR MEMBERS - Merry Christmas
Yesterday was a busy time of celebration on Christmas Eve.
During the day it was a time of visiting and good conversation with friends and
acquaintances and even many of my business clients made a point to call me with
Christmas greetings and even bringing treats and foods to my home.
I do not have any family here where I live, so it was a very special time for me
with my local "family."
Last night my church had a "candlelight" Christmas Eve service that included lots of
singing of Christmas songs and a special presentation by the kids of the Christmas story.
I hope and trust that for those that celebrate this special day of the year, even
if you alone with no family, that you will can reach out to and perhaps offer a plate
of cookies and be a blessing to others including those that are "shut-ins" and elderly,
at a rest-home... and those that are alone.
To ALL here on our Forum, you are our family. It blesses me to be with you
here on the Forum.
Blessings to all:

In a followup AND ADDITION to my previous comment that I posted just TWO hours ago on this thread:

here are just a few the many Cookie gift plates that I prepared
to give my friends and to elderly shut-ins.
They are full of my fresh baked cookies and treats.
