Title: The other day I tried on heels and clothing in store

The other day I went into a Ross clothing store and tried on a few pairs of heels to find out my size. i think im about an 8 or 8.5 in heels. then I went to the womens clothing rack and found a few things to try on, a couple of silk blouses. i had to wait for a fitting room which made my nerves pretty shaky. when i finally got into a room i was more calm. one fit me perfect and I should have bought it but I ultimately decided not to. all and all I felt confident to try them on without running out the store.

That is a brave and positive step. You find that 99% of people don't really notice or care.

People are busy with their own life and thoughts so they don't notice.

And if they do notice they don't care.
 
And if they do care it doesn't impact you at all. Life goes on

It takes some bravery to do this at first.  It is easier when you are in a store presenting as a woman and it is something that just takes doing it.  Shopping with another woman at first can ease the discomfort level.  Then later on, shopping with another woman is just a nice and fun thing to do.  You can also get some advice on what truly looks good on you, if you allow her to not hold her comments back on giving constructive advice.

Congratulations on your shopping outing and trying things on.

You will also find that buying and returning items in person is something to get used to.
Being able to try things in the store tends to reduces purchases as well as returns.
