I've been going around on names for my femme side I'd like some input from my ladies.
1) Dawn that is a female version of my first name. I don't go by my first name however.
2) Kelly this is a female version of my middle name that I use
3) Heidi that was the name my parents were going to give me had i been born female
4) Any other ideas? I'm willing to take suggestions.

Those all sound lovely. I particularly like Heidi. It's traditional yet has a uniqueness to it.
Names are just so personal it's very hard to make suggestions. All I can say is the names I considered for me but didn't choose in the end!
Chloe- I love Chloe from secret life of pets 😸
Serena- my wolf fursona is called Serana and that's similar. It's a sweet name.
Sophie- just sounds very sweet but traditional.
Good luck, something will just feel right very soon X

@Old New CD
If you can come up with a personally acceptable name that begins with "k" or even "d" then you can initial documents no matter if you are presenting as a male or as a female.
Frankly BOTH Dawn and Kellie will obviously work well for you. Heidi is a wonderful name but it is 100% female which will make a legal name change required if you go tha route.
All of this is a decision that only you can make. Consider all of your options.
Please keep us all updated.

I love the sound of Sophie or Sophia! Chloe or Zoey are also near the top for me. Kelly is cool. But I also like Danielle's advice: going unisex. Something like Billy or Kenny. Jade or Ash.
Choosing a name is huge! Mine (Anni) evolved over the course of several months. And was pretty much given to me by a dear friend on SP. But I am so happy with it! (much better than the Mrs. Oliphant from whom Anni evolved)

Keeping your initials the same has some practical advantages. For example, I can display all my military certificates and memorabilia without alteration, since they only used initials.
The names you suggested are all nice. It should be something you like.

You will know it when you find it. The question to ask is how you will feel when people call you that for the rest of your life. If it makes you smile to think of that, you have a winner.
Try doing an internet search for baby names. Many sites offer suggestions. Just go down the list and ask the question. If you have a list of "maybes," think about combining them. Dawn Marie is my best friend's name. Kelly Jo was my next-door neighbor when I was a kid. And I am Lori Dee!

Before I ever realized I was transgender, there was handful a female names I was attracted to. Alana, Stefanie, Lauren, and Aubrey. When I started exploring my feminine side, Alana just felt right.
You'll know yours when you find it

As somebody who goes by the name Heidemarie I can only strongly recommend Heidi! 😀
BTW & FYI, Heidi (as well as Heide) is a short form of the German name Adelheid with the English equivalent being Adelaide.
Hugs,
Heidemarie
