Title: Surgery Journey - Documenting This Important Milestone.
Post by: VictoriasSecret on January 17, 2026, 04:54:11 PM
Hello all,

Hope you are well wherever you may be.

As mentioned previously, I'm heading to Thailand for GRS in August 2026.

I would like to document my journey with a series of posts and possibly short videos.

As everyone's story is different I think it would be good to share from my perspective.

With relation to video postings, I'm not sure if there is capabilities to upload to this site or not?

The jury is still out on whether it is even wise for me to do this.

As @Sarah B has mentioned in previous posts: "The internet never forgets!"

Any suggestions on the best place to post?

Good luck Victoria. You will be in good hands.

I can't answer this and I don't know what this site's policy is but hopefully someone will guide you.

I think there are different aspects to the idea. Sharing your journey does feel like an important part of the process for you, bringing affirmation and support as well as documenting such a milestone so that you yourself can look back on it.

On the other hand, this is a voyeuristic age and there will undoubtedly also be those who use and abuse such a personal level of sharing for nefarious purposes.

For me, when I have the final cut, I'm keeping it very very private but then I have become really anti internet sharing generally, so I'm unusual nowadays.

Really thinking of you through this fantastically exciting process.

xx

Maybe you can create a YouTube profile for a type of a vlog where you can record your journey. You can then just include a hyperlink on this site to your YouTube vlog when you post updates.
