My wife has just gone through a major weight loss. This is a boon for me. Even though she is far shorter than me she always had a weight issue. She had weight loss surgery and anyone that thinks it's the cheaters way need to reconsider. She now get sick eating just a little to much, and some foods flat out make her purge (I will not offer details on that).
The up side for me is a lot of her clothes are now enormously to big. I now have new sexy panties, bralettes and leggings. Her taste in dresses are very different than mine, so no win there. I just wish my feet were about 3 to 4 sizes smaller.

One of the luxuries I've had cross dressing every so often is my wife and I are roughly the same size, at least up until this last weight gain of mine. Vastly different styles, which I use to think I knew what she'd like to wear and I was just wrong but realize I was picking out what I would want to wear.
Shoes are a different story but I could wear her capris, cardigans, shorts. She doesn't really wear dresses. And yes underwear. For someone who dresses in what would be called grandma core all her panties are hipsters, boyshorts and the occasional thong.
Lately she's worn one twice in the last year and I think that's two times more then our entire relationship. So having a dress that's roughly my size has been nice.
She's always complained about me stealing her socks which I always chalked up to a matter if convenience because mine end up buried in my bin or I've got a bad habit of walking outside in just my socks, but I've realized it was just a subconscious thing to have something woman specific on.

I think it's super cute if a couple shares the same clothes. I'm not that lucky because (A) my wife is smaller than me and (B) she would never agree.

I have gotten more than a few things from my wife in the past. But now I have just the opposite situation going on now. My wife has lost so much weight that she wearing some of my clothes. 🥰
She has a number of my tops the are exclusively hers now and she has one of my dresses set aside, that she's set a goal on wearing at some point. So far, all are things I've given her. Although she has made comments about going through my closet some day.

None of these sharing clothes joys here...my partner is male! He loves care bears though and has womens tops and panties with them on. So he's not too tied up on gendering of clothing. He's also got a cute dress just for home though. At least I get to see him in cute stuff.

I finding my wife's work clothes are boring. Very corporate and she spends way to much time on her feet for heels

I'll be getting an idea about that in a month or two since I'll be getting Rou-N-Y done. But I already had a taste because my tests came back detecting h pylori and even I experienced morning sickness with regular coffee with the treatment medication. I could handle decaf, but regular I'll have to see after surgery if I'll still be able to drink a little bit of it (obviously not right away).
But I am really looking forward to clothes shopping after the surgery when I have lost the weight. Hopefully I'll look like that "Veronica" from Tim Allen's "The Santa Clause" in a black skirt and hose. I was looking at some clothes in a store today that hopefully I'll be able to fit into that size by Christmas because I loved the prints and designs and the hose—-it's easier getting smaller hose than the plus size hose.

My wife actually went to Mexico to get hers done. It was done by American doctors. She spoke very highly of the whole thing. She is in medical and knows what she's talking about

I'm not traveling to Mexico. I'll be getting mine done in Ottawa, and it's going to be covered by OHIP, so it doesn't cost me the $25,000 out of pocket.

A bout six years ago I was told that, after having the surgery, because your stomach doesn't have access to the same amount acid as before, and the caffeine in the coffee is sharp and it's like sand/pulverized glass. In your normal stomach there's enough acid to dull the edges but after there's not as much as it needed to dull those edges, and they can, especially right after surgery cause scratches and be rough on your stomach and that's why they recommend not drinking caffeine after surgery. Now then back then they were saying that for life, but apparently over the last few years they've found people, after being off caffeinated coffee for six months after surgery, can have the odd cup of caffeinated coffee and be fine.
