Do you like eating squash? What kind? Do you steam it? Fry it? Mash it and bake it?

Its ok. Not a big fan but I don't dislike it either. Added it to mashed potatoes for a topping on Shepherds pie or Cottage pie or served it with sausages and gravy.

I have some curry recipes for butternut squash, one with blackeyed beans and the other I do is sweet and sour.

Yeah, Butternut Squash. I like it but I always roast it even if I'm making soup with it.
Of course in the UK we drink squash and play squash but that's something else entirely.
