Do you like eating squash?  What kind?  Do you steam it?  Fry it?  Mash it and bake it?


Do you add anything to it, such as brown sugar and cinnamon?

Its ok. Not a big fan but I  don't dislike it either. Added it to mashed potatoes for a topping on Shepherds pie or Cottage pie or served it with sausages and gravy.

I have some curry recipes for butternut squash, one with blackeyed beans and the other I do is sweet and sour.

Yeah, Butternut Squash. I like it but I always roast it even if I'm making soup with it.

Of course in the UK we drink squash and play squash but that's something else entirely.

Squash or Zucchini. Sliced in rounds, pan fried in olive oil, salt pepper and garlic or grilled. I put it in a bag and soak it in olive oil before grilling.

Also like Zuchini spirals as a pasta alternative. Pesto, chicken. Though for that I prefer butter.

I like the yellow squash.

Yes. But haven't in a long time. I put in one plant in my garden a couple years ago. It took over 1/4 of the garden. The vines can grow inches in a day if you keep the water to it.

Its a drink made from from a fruit concentrate (though not loads of sugar). You put a bit of the cordial in a glass and add water, sparkling or just plain tap water. It tastes very nice and you can get it in just about every flavour under the sun. Blackcurrant is my favourite but it's illegal in the US. Orange and Mango is nice too.

Squash is a British staple. I'm not sure if US tap water is drinkable everywhere though so it probably hasn't caught on.
