Do you enjoy eating pork shoulder bacon?
It is not widely available across the USA but some places it can be easily found, such as in the Pacific Northwest.

This shoulder bacon is also often available at Sam's Club in the USA. Hempler's, in the cold meat section, not frozen.
It is considered to be an EUROPEAN style bacon.
It is worthy of a try, especially if you enjoy bacon or Canadian bacon or even ham.
What is nice is that you can cook a couple of slices in the microwave in about 90-120 seconds.
Put paper towels above and below the meat. Makes for tasty shoulder bacon sandwiches and an extra something for other sandwiches.
They do not typically look like strips of regular bacon but perhaps more like small slices of ham.
You can also pan fry them.

Too fatty for me with high cholesterol. My veins are like the inside of Sellafield outlet pipe.
Still eat bacon though, always smoked

In the uk it's mostly back bacon from the loin or streaky bacon from the belly. Pancetta is popular too which is also from the belly. I've never seen shoulder bacon. Shoulder meat is usually raosted as a joint or cut into casserole pieces. I have also seen shoulder steaks but never bacon.

A few butchers in my area sell shoulder bacon.
