Yeah, I want to take this a step further in light of the current world climate. From the UK, I want to thank my US brothers and sisters for serving and striving for something greater than anything the people at the top might want you to fight for. You aren't a militia. You are a proud, honourable, network focused group of guys and gals.
Military life is a bond that people who make the decisions from on high can never understand. You can't make enemies of people who have been lifelong friends. We all want a better world and when we went into that service, we were, and are willing to pay the ultimate price. To fight for idiots to make boneheaded decisions. As long as those people were chosen by other people. And not by their own egotistical decree.

Oh, also @Northern Star Girl... Danielle, it's correctly pronounced Leftenant. Because "Lieu" is pronounced "Loo", which is British slang for a toilet. That's why we never call anyone a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy. :)

Thank you Chrissy. Military service was very life defining, and although hard at times, very rewarding.
