Lots of exciting things happening soon:

*  I have been visiting couple times a week with a local woman.  We get along great!  She usually comes to my house.  I think because her husband and grown kids are often at her house.  So, we can more freely have good woman to woman discussions.

*   Had a new 'Workstation' kitchen sink installed yesterday. It's not a lot larger than the old one but has many new usable features.

*  In process of changing therapists.  Really like the one I've been with for a couple years, and she appears to like working with me.  But it is time to get a new perspective.  I have been doing video meetings.  Will no doubt continue doing video with new therapist. However, I am excited because she also does in-person office meetings.  I dress for video meetings and even give my therapist a 'fashion show' to start our meetings. In office meetings with new therapist will require a one-hour drive to her office where I will be dressed as my true self the entire time.  Hope I can do it!!!

I have always preferred in-person meetings, but I'm not willing to drive an hour each way for a one-hour chat. Video works just fine for that.

Hi Coral

Thank you for sharing your story it was appreciated and I hope your new therapist is of help for you in your journey.  In terms of doctor visits, I'm of the opinion of face to face, however if its just for a prescription refill then a video or phone call 'visit' will suffice.

Congratulations, Coral. It sounds like your life is flowing in several promising directions. I love seeing that happen for you, for anyone. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

It must be a nice feeling to have a legit plutonic friendship with an another woman where you can chat about everyday life from the perspective of a woman. That's actually a milestone chapter in my opinion.

Today's update:

Went to an appointment at clinic this morning wearing a denim skirt and polo shirt with no pocket to better show my bra. My first time ever out in the world dressed feminine! While at the clinic, I walked to the front desk to submit some paperwork.  It is quite a walk to the front.  Unfortunately, I was not able to wear women's shoes due to nature of my appointment.

I did order a small black purse on-lone this morning.  Most skirts either have very small pockets, or none at all.  I'm used to cargo shorts with lots of pockets.

After this appointment I visited the bank, and a lawyer's office.  Never a comment was heard.  So, after lunch, with same wardrobe I went to grocery store.  I was there an hour or more.  Talked with several people throughout the day.  I was like no one even noticed my skirt!

The next challenge will be to talk with friends dressed feminine!

I'm also looking for another therapist.  One who will do in-person meetings instead of just virtual.  I've found a promising therapist, and my insurance requires in-person meetings, at least the first meeting.  Only issue is it is becoming difficult to get on her schedule.  I will keep trying!

Happy to report that I have been following through with lots of exciting happenings.  I started by going to doctor appointments as my female self.  That went so well, I have since been wearing skirt and top all day, every day.  I even left it on when I knew grandson was coming over.  I have visited with all my friends and close neighbors.  And you know, no one cares!  I even ride my ATV when wearing a skirt.  It does get a bit cool, especially when wearing a thong ....

Only downside has been a cooling of my relationship with the woman I first came out to and was enjoying dressing for.  We are still friends, but she prefers I not be dressed fem when with her.  She has some very difficult family issues going on.  So I try to be there to give her support.

on the excited front, I meet with the new therapist on Monday.

Wow, things seem to happen quickly!  I was less than 2 months ago that I posted about going to a health appointment wearing a skirt.  I have since been to multiple appointments dressed feminine.  I have come out to most of my neighbors and maintain relationships as always.

I have been attending weekly therapy sessions for over 5 years via video.  I've just had two video meetings with a new therapist who offers in-person appointments.  However, her office is an hour's drive away. During our last meeting she said she is relocating to the office about 10 minutes from my house.  So just one more video meeting, then will be in-person appointments.  We are both looking forward to meeting in-person!

Also, I have been open to all my doctors about my female desires.  As I said above I've been attending health appointments dressed feminine.  My health provider has all my records on-line available to all providers.  My new therapist works for my provider with access to all my health information.  One of the unique things they offer is to recognize you by other than your given name.  I have been reluctant to share my feminine name, Coral, with them, and certainly did not want them calling out, "Coral" when ready for me. 

That was when I was dressed male.  On the encouragement and suggestion of my therapist, she changed my identity to now be "Coral". This makes a lot more sense since I now go and sit in the waiting room fully presenting as Coral. I'm excited for have them call, "Coral" at my next appointment in a couple weeks.

I'm also working with an esthetician who has extensive experience working with trans people.  I expect to have a much better female presentation in a couple weeks.  We spent nearly our entire 2-hour session trying different wigs to determine a feminine hair style. Next will be working on makeup.  I'm excited!  Can you tell??
