Have you ever put a slightly stale chocolate cake, put it in a bowl, pour milk on top of it and eat.
My oldest daughter and I do it, the rest of the family think we're weird. I learned it from my dad.
It's OK to say I'm weird. Im use to it.

Anything with chocolate is okay with me!
I have revived a few stale cakes that way. Not exactly stale, but a bit dry.
I prefer to just drown it in ice cream!

There's a big problem with that here. Chocolate cake is not around long enough to get stale!
And almost certainly and definitely 100% weird!

Why would you do that when custard exists? Or do you not have custard over there?

I like custard-filled pastries. Sadly, most places sell them filled with "Bavarian Creme," which is just fluff made with powdered sugar. You can get custard-filled at bakeries and donut shops, but I'm too cheap to pay those prices. Sometimes, truck stops and travel stops will have them. Then I indulge. If not chocolate, then maple.

We have custard and sweet puddings. You get to save a dish by pouring milk in the bowl. It all get mixed up when you eat it
