Title: Ordered a degree reprint

I finally got tired of hiding my degree certificate because it had my dead name. It took the university a couple of days to process my name change, but that is done now. Today, I ordered a reprint of my parchment. It should be here in a couple of weeks.
When I told my wife, she said, "Oh, it can come out, now!" 😁

That's great news! At least another thing sorted. I did mine recently too...pretty simple really.

I keep my Honorable Discharge on the wall, even though it has my deadname. No one sees it, and if they did, they might assume it was a relative. It doesn't bother me. I don't read it either.
