Title: Online medical perception services
Post by: Dawn Kellie on April 12, 2026, 03:31:38 PM
I've been looking online and found a website that does online prescription service for HRT.
It's a monthly fee and you get evaluated and a medical televisit.  They then send your prescription to a local pharmacy.
Has anyone done this?
Does anyone know the draw backs?
I'm hoping someone has insights

I have not, but all of my care is free through the VA.

My only question is how they plan to monitor your hormone levels?

HRT should involve a lab test to check your baseline levels and determine how much of an increase is needed, whether T-blockers are required now or can wait, etc. After starting HRT, they should do follow-up labs at 30-90 days, then can extend those to 6 months to a year.

Monitoring is crucial to ensure health and safety. I would definitely ask about that. You might be able to do out-of-pocket lab tests, then send them the results. That way, they can make appropriate adjustments. If they are willing to prescribe without lab tests, run away. That is a good sign of a scam.

Don't play games with your health. You only have it for a short while.
