A conservative parents' group is suing a Minnesota school district over its transgender-inclusive bathroom policy, one month after the Trump administration announced its own suit against the state's Department of Education.
New Richmond Parents for Strong Schools (NRPSS) filed a lawsuit against the New Richmond School District (NRSD) on April 10, alleging that the district violated Title IX anti-discrimination law by allowing trans students to use bathrooms and locker rooms which match their gender identity. The suit refers to trans girls as "biological males" and "men" throughout, including in reference to one unnamed trans high school student.
NRPSS is represented in the suit by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL), a conservative legal group which previously fought against coronavirus mask mandates. They are asking for a permanent injunction forcing the school to separate its bathrooms and locker rooms for "females" and "males," as well as unspecified compensatory damages.

So, let's discriminate against trans kids by suing to enforce an anti-discrimination law that discriminates against trans kids.
