I found it interesting to read that most gator meat served at restaurants is farm raised, not harvested from the wild.

I found it interesting that many people think the gator meat tastes something like a cross between chicken and wild game.
The best parts for eating may be towards the tail. This meat is supposedly ideal for frying.

Gatorade bites are great. A little got sauce and you got a meal. The tail is the only part worth eating, it's very lean meat.
