Title: Do you like to drink a natural mineral water?

Do you like to drink a natural mineral water?

The Evian brand water, from a spring in France, is an example.

Not particularly, I don't enjoy paying for water. Having said that, nobody here in Barcelona (that I know) drinks tap water. So just like everyone else, I lug water home from the store.

I was in Cartagena Spain and even then my knees weren't the best and I knew I was not going to be able to climb down the amphitheater stairs so I went for lunch instead. While I was there they gave me a can of water with a lemon slice and it was wonderful. I wasn't able to recreate it back in Canada but I did ask a Spanish person and they mentioned that it might have been mineral water. If it was and I can recreate the flavour I had in Spain then yes I do intend on drinking mineral water, if not then I likely won't bother.

We have excelent quality tap water in Northumberland so it just makes sense to drink that. It actually has added flourine in it for our region because someone decided we all had bad teeth up here ha ha! There is a very mild chlorine taste but that is very easy to get rid of by putting it into a water filter jug with the added benefit of being able to keep it in the fridge for chilled water. Nice and cheap!

I must be weird because i honestly dont like the taste of water at all. In order to drink more than a few sips it needs something in it!

Natural calcium may be more absorbable than added chemical calcium, to help our bones.

Mineral water that is filtered only by the nature may contain this natural calcium.

There are two non-natural water filtering processes that do not remove minerals, the others all do.

I'm partial to Gerolsteiner and San Pellegrino when I want something fizzy.  Far better than drinking soda pop or energy drinks.

Because our tap water is sourced from areas including limestone and chalk deposits there is Calcium in our tap water. Ours is a hard water area meaning mineral rich, it's basically mineral water but with added filtration plus Flourine and Chlorine is added to keep it healthier and sanitised. It is actually quite healthy.

Some other area's of the UK do not have the same quality. I think The Thames Valley Water isn't great for example. We have a lot of natural and man made reservoirs up here too so we very rarely get restrictions on our water useage unlike areas down south. They are always trying to figure out ways to get our water piped down there! They've not managed it yet!

The San Pellegrino sparkling water also has natural calcium that may not be filtered out.
