I just finished sending an urgent appeal to you all via private message. If you have your PM notification settings enabled, you may receive an alert about this message in your email. This is a feature that members maintain sole control over.
The situation is urgent enough to warrant members reading it, but we also fully respect your choices regarding how you receive messages like these. You agreed to receive these notifications when you registered your account.
If as a result of receiving my message you would like to disable new private message email notifications for future forum PMs, you can do so easily: log into your account, click on Profile in the main menu, and select Notification or Messaging Settings from the profile menu options. Look for the preferences section governing personal messages, uncheck the box for email notifications whenever you receive a new PM, and save your changes.
Additionally, you always have the choice to delete your account if that is what you would prefer to do instead. Either way we appreciate your support!
