Hi everyone. Earlier this summer I managed to get a letter from my therapist giving me the go ahead for bottom surgery (vaginoplasty.)
I go down to the Papillon Center on Tuesday. My PA-C is basically looking over my hormone levels. I have experienced clotting in the heart and lungs almost 3 years ago. I've been making sure to keep my estrogen level balanced since that incident.
Basically I just give that therapy letter to the PA-C and ask him to give it to Dr. McGinn. Most likely I will be having an in person consultation with her before surgery.
I guess it's pretty exciting. The fact that I got the therapy letter kind of confirms for me this is becoming reality. On the other hand there's all this work I'm trying to do such as maintaining my weight and dealing with occasional anxiety. Other than that I think it's pretty amazing.
I'll most likely give an update on the hormone levels afterward!
