In the many instances such as this, I think a great tactic to fight the ban is to push for a ban on ANYONE other than the intended invitee. In other words, an absolutely-no-family-friends-or-guests policy.
I realize it has about an ENDAs chance in hell of getting implemented, but it helps illuminate the hypocrisy of the prejudice and bigotry.
