Title: Passing me by
Post by: Audrey on February 02, 2008, 07:08:28 PM
Post by: Audrey on February 02, 2008, 07:08:28 PM
Lately I feel that my life is passing my by. All I ever do is go to work and come home, watch the stockmarket in the morning and then go to work and the cycle goes on and on. Every once in a while I go out with friends etc. but I need more than that in life. I need an adventure, an awakening rather. Not to mention a boyfriend. I am thinking about going through one of those online dating sites. I know that the chances for love are slim, but I need exposure. My loop is so closed that I am never going to meet anyone.
I am trying to get a new job somewhere where I get to meet lots of people. I am thinking that maybe being a CNA in the float pool at the hospital might be a good one. A good opportunity to work with different people all the time. Who knows. Thanks for listening to my ramble.

some times Audrey the cycle does get very broing and mun dain . and we need the change from time to time
to make things more interesting. maybe this CNA in the float pool at the hospital your talking about is
a good thing to check out and get in to . or even something simler to it. as i have had the same problem with
job,s and i have changed jobs a few times. untill i found the job i liked a lot. and everysince i found my job
its like i broke the cycle. and i have not gone threw this since that time.an as for the dateing site. iam sorry
i can not offer some advice as to which one might be the best for you. only for these 2 reasons one you
have to choose the dateing site you like. and the second one being that i never have looked at or
check out the dateing sites. so iam not sureat all on the dateing sites . but i can say this every one
needs to ramble some times. it is a good thing so ramble on :)

alright debbie you asked for it.
Ramble hmmm.....I used to have a rambler. a 68 AMC american classic, three on the tree (funnn :D), paid 200 hundred dollars for it. It was in someones back alley and I drove it out of the ruts that had formed from it sitting so long. Some fix-a-flat in the tires and fresh gas and I was good to go. Drove it for about three months untill the starter went out in a parking lot.
Well so here I am in this big empty parking lot in a car with a bad starter. Well in Great Falls, MT where I lived at the time it is notoriously windy. so what do I do? I opened the doors and trunk and caught enough wind to "sail" across the parking lot, enough to put it in gear and start it. :D ;D
Well a new starter was almost half what I paid for the car, and my sister had also creamed it backing out of my parents driveway. So needless to say it went to the junkyard.
Audrey
PS one of these days I'll post some pictures of my "Thing".
NO pervert its a car. A VW to be exact. :D

Online dating -- ick! You have a problem finding boys, Audrey? You should totally go out, 'cause I can't imagine it would be a problem once you did. To bad you weren't near hear, I'd be dragging you out all of the time. LOL :P
It's like a few other very pretty people I know, and seem to have problems finding anyone. Me, I just can't get rid of people fast enough; I'm constantly breaking hearts left-right-and-center. And people just don't seem to get it, that I really don't want to date anyone now. After being in a relationship for a year, and then being on a bunch of dates after that, I've decided I want to be single for the next little while. I have no idea why so many people seem attracted to me; it confuses me.
Anyway, good luck Audrey. I'm sure everything will fall in place for you. :)

God Mara I hope so. For example tonite I was at a friends house and she invited some of her guy friends over. One of them wanted my number so she asked me if she could give it out. I was basically like "theres no point because when he figures it out hes gonna freak". I just don't see the point of persuing anything right now without them knowing my history. If he knew or had a vague notion then yeah, but I am afraid to let my heart get caught up in a relationship right now, when any intimacy would lead to instant rejection/anger/death. I am a really sensitive person and am afraid of getting hurt. I guess I feel like I am in limbo right now.

You probally get that a bit too huh...
Whats a girl to do?
It seems like the only option for us girls is ->-bleeped-<- ->-bleeped-<-s, or FtM's or being lesbian... for us..
Too bad straight normal guys that seem to have the intellect and good looks are not possible in the same configuration.
>:(
You know you look very similar to my ex-girlfriend.

Sorry mara,
GGs complain all the time about this exact problem. It has nothing to do with the trans history. Finding people to hook up with is always problematic. Most advice about how to go about it centers on taking classes or attending events about something you are interested in. That way the people you meet like the same things you like. This is usually considered preferable than just using a dating service where the only objective is hooking up.
Audrey, you are adorable. It is hard to believe that there are not people following down the street everywhere you go.
