Local 'Rentheads' flock to the DuPont Theatre before its final Broadway bow

At first, James Bowers didn't believe it. An e-mail from a friend carried the news: "Rent," after 12 years on Broadway, would close.
The distraught "Rent" superfan checked at SiteforRent.com, the musical's online home, and saw a video of the show's producer announcing the June 1 final performance.
