Title: Study shows popularity at school effects girls health.

An interesting article that shows how popularity at schools effects weight.

It suggests that schools can have an influence of this by encouraging a "secure and supportive" social environment in which students feel accepted.

I wonder how this would apply  to Transgender students.
It seems to suggest a definative link between ostracism and health.

If all students are encouraged to do well and be accepting of others and thier peers, then it seems like they will all do better.
That's my opinion.

How others view us does affect how we feel. I do believe that a more supporting environment would help us all as a whole. By nature we seem to be social creatures. That is an interesting thought how things would be if society was more accepting of TG and other groups. But of course this isn't always the case, someone who is not very popular can still be very healthy and do well in life, but there are also other factors involved such as family and home life.
