Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site and new to a lot of things really. I'm not exactly sure of what I would like to find by coming to this site but I'm crossing my fingers for something. I just feel really confused about everything and am not sure what to do or how to go about doing it. I would really like to find someone who lives in the same city or nearby to me so I could talk with someone in the flesh. I'm doubting that will happen, I live in St. Joseph, Missouri if there is anyone here that is from this area.
I'm looking forward to communicating with you all and hopefully gaining some knowledge and insight from you all as well. Again I'm not really sure of what I'm looking for but I know it would be nice to have some friends who are going through or have gone through the things I am.

Thank you all for the responses. Its nice to meet you all and I look forward to talking with you all here at one time or another. I must admit that when I wrote this I was feeling a little isolated and overwhelmed but am doing better now. Its always nice to have people to talk with. My main reason for wanting someone in town is it would just be nice to have someone to meet with and not feel so alone but I do realise that I'm not actually alone as long as there is the internet.
Right now I'm doing alright but when I do have a question I will be sure to ask.

I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself a little. I'm pretty new to all of this and to this site but I'm learning more and more as I go. I thought I would ask if there is anyone here that is in the st. joseph, mo area? I'm very glad that I have this site to come to and ask questions and recieve support but I would really like to find someone close to my area so I could meet with someone and just talk sometime.

I'm a crossdresser in the St. Joseph, MO area. I would love to talk or meet another crossdresser in my hometown. I've been crossdressing for about 15 years now (since I was a teenager), but I've never taken the step to meet with anyone as of yet. Im pretty descrete, and nervous. So far I have created a certain style that I like and have a pretty good size wardrobe. Getting clothes and accessories hasn't been much of a problem, but meeting people has. So far, I have a hard time trusting anyone I meet online.
