Sally Kern to P-FLAG: gays shouldn't be fired because of sexual orientation

Hmm. That's big news, but the Oklahoma state representative still won't apologize for her comments or beliefs. Also, I don't understand how Sally Kern squares this position with her prior statements, since we are "the biggest threat our nation has, even more so than terrorism" and are "destroying this nation." Shouldn't we be thrown in gulags instead? From a P-FLAG release that's hot in the inbox:

How about that. Listen to the words of the "militant GLBT agenda" and compare them to those of Ms Kern.
The response from Rev. Loyce Newton-Edwards is even tempered, calm, and kind. This is very good press. I hope it gets published far and wide.
I hope that Sally Kerns actually learns something from this experience as well. She may still cling to her beliefs but she is getting positive interaction from GLBT representatives. It must have some impact.
