That's a misleading statement as I don't use photoshop, I use a program called PhotoImpact. But you get the idea.
Anyway, here's a couple "masculinized" pics of myself.

The masculinizing was adding a 5 o'clock shadow and filling out my eyebrows.
Passable? Yes? No?

Ooooh very nice :)
I photoshopped once and it looked HORRIBLE. So, I just left myself normal. (See default picture)

Thanks everybody. This is a good boost for my confidence.
Luckily my eyebrows are filling out, but the 5 o'clock shadow is another story. Here's hopin I'll be able to pass this good IRL.

I have Photoshop Cs2 and play around with it a bit. Getting better with practice, I join amateur contests here and there.
I put my touch on your photo, here it is, let me know what you think.

I extended the eyebrows a little because god knows all men have unibrows.
I also flattened your nose a tiny, tiny bit, and gave you hints of an Adam's apple.

I like the first set better. This last attempt to me looks too fake. If I saw it outside of this post I would still think something was fishy about it. Just off first glance, the edge of the hair line is too perfect.
I have photoshop also, and I work with it a lot for work. I have a book that goes into detail about how to create the whole 5 o'clock shadow, but every time I tried it, I got the same results as yours for the most part. Never had one that looked natural enough. I may be too much of a perfectionist.
On the other hand, I may try the trial version of the software you used on the first set and see what kinda results I can get with it. I think your first set looks nice and I would never question the photo.

Well I'm a photographer and work a lot with digital art so I'm well practiced. Many times less is more. The hint of a shadow will trick the viewer into thinking they can see it clearly, when really it's a slight shaded effect.
Not a bad attempt Blick, and I like your idea of adding the hint of an adam's apple. A little more practice with subtlety and you'll be well on your way.
