Post by: Lisbeth on April 10, 2008, 12:39:09 PM
Recently supporters of the Family Research Council received an envelope stamped with the words "EXPOSED: Radicals' plan to attack churches!" And that plan is....  sit down at the dinner table.

It's wonderful to hear. However, if many families took the time to understand, affrim and love their GLBT children, THAT would be even better.

Sitting down at the dinner table with others can be hazardous to one's stereotypes.  You can talk and learn things like the fact that the 'evil' transgendered person is more like you than you realize.

You might even find yourself liking them and having to abandon a long held stereotype in the face of facts.
