I live on a busy street and i had to get some paper work out of my trunk this afternoon. I was wearing My tank top and a pair of tight jeans. Minding my own business out in the the light.

I notice a Mini van backing up. Which i think nothing of as i walk back to my apartment door. As i was closing the door the Van window rolls down and he ask me: Do you know how to get to CF? I told him continue down the hill and make a right at the light.

(Duh the sign was right there) giggles

Then he said: "You Look Good"  I told him Thank-you! and then He said: "May I come in" I said OMG NOOOO! and shut the door..

Hmmmmm ahhhhhhhhh..........


I have not been in a relationship in four years. I'm Loving the attention when i get it. I'm getting very very curious. I can't believe i fell for that line either.

So what can i do not to attract unwanted attention and still wear my Tank Top and Tight Jeans?

Do I have to give over to a group for care and protection. Stop doing things alone. Arrgggh, Submit to a pecking order

These are questions every girl must address.  Remember Robin, you are now the hunted, not the hunter.  How you display yourself and your assets (no pun) will directly result in the type of people (mostly men) that you attract.

I'm afraid you have to be more thoughtful about where you are going and how you are going to dress.

Sure you can wear your tank top and tight jeans (I love mine!) but remember, tight jeans show off parts of you that you may not want to show off depending on where you go.

This is the life every woman leads.  It can be a pain in the assets (ok, pun) sometimes but it can be fun too!

I don't think tight jeans is going be much of a turn on for a hetrosexual man. I could undertand it if you were wearing a very short skirt....

I have to disagree with this one. The men I see and talk to find tight jeans almost an invitation. So Robin, you did the right thing by leaving quickly. Your choice is either to dress more conservatively (not so much fun) or be ready to move out of a dangerous situation quickly. GGs face this kind of thing all the time.

Agreed, It really does depend on where you are, and the culture of the location you're at, and to a degree the culture of the people doing the complimenting/harrassing.

But no matter how careful one is, I think that it's always a good idea to be prepared for the worst.

Something I recommend for anybody, but especially the transgendered is a concealed weapons permit, and a gun, or some other sort of practical self-defense devices (Knife, Taser, Stun gun, Pepperspray), as well as being trained in how to use said device.

I typically keep a knife in one of my boots and a knife in my bag, and depending on what I am wearing, in my pocket. When I have the funds I plan on getting a firearm, and I want an extendable baton for my birthday. Ok, a little overkill for most people, but I'm a little weird like that. Naturally check local laws before arming yourself in any way without a permit.

Wow, It seems when im minding my own business. I get approached or talked too.

I'm at Dunkin Donuts last night and there was three guys sitting by the door. When the girl behind the counter said bye. The three Guys chimed in and said bye to me.

I kept walking without a smile.

I still experience shock when i get attention.....

Well, in this case I would have said 'bye' with a little smile and kept walking. In your case it depends on your voice. If it makes sense then use just a little smile when people are trying to be nice but do it like a little sister rather than a sex object.
