It depends on the season and the show. A standard day would be starting anywhere from 7 am to 12 am, and ending at 1-3 am. Though the other night it took us till 4:30am, then up at 7-12 to do it again. Its not uncommon for us to finish at 3, have a few beers and such, and crawl into our fav sleep spot for a few because the next show is coming in at 7.
I can do 3 to 4 days in a row like that without a break. Oh to be young when I did it 20-30 days in a row.
The Opera crew does that for the 3 months of the season. It's a young person's job that opera stuff.
Shop work (building sets and such) and maintenance stuff is your basic 8-5 with an hour off for lunch. (We have to be feed every five hours, they can either give us an hour off the clock, or provide lunch in which case we get 1/2 hour on the clock.
Movies tend to 12-16 hour days (before dawn to after sunset - its the light thing), 20 days straight. Movies are hard, but when you get done you have a might check waiting for you after you get up from your 2-3 days of sleeping.

My work schedule?
Monday to Friday:
I start at 6 AM, 15 min break in the morning, 1 lunch, 15 min break in the afternoon, finished at 3:30 PM. More realistically I'm finished at 4:30 PM.
These hours require that I get up at 4 AM :(

I'm self employed, so my schedule varies considerably. I'm not a morning person, but if I have to get up early to be at a gig, I do it. Among other things, I teach private music lessons, on those days I tend to give lessons anywhere from 11AM to 8PM, especially after school hours.

My work is based on a contract. We have not a definite schedule. They can call us anytime and say "we need you in this part of the world" and we must go if the contract has been signed. While there, we can work everyday, even weekends and nights. My holiday time is normally long, one, two months, sometimes three. That's the good part of my job.

My schedule is flexible. Or I should say I'm flexible to my schedule. I get in anywhere between 7 to 9am and work until 5pm or later, depending on when I finish whatever is due for the next morning. Sometimes I'm done at 2 and kind of just look for things to do until the end of the day, and other times I'm procrastinating on Sunday night until 10pm wondering why I took a salary position to begin with :eusa_wall:

Students are allowed in at 7:20AM, so I try and be there no later than 7:10AM. The school day ends at 2:55. From 3 to 5 PM I monitor a study hall for students who have a late practice or are waiting for a game. This is also when I tend to so some free tutoring. After 5, I try and get some work done in my classroom. Most nights I leave somewhere between 7:30 & 8 PM. Of course, I'm off the clock for this time, but the work has to get done.
Sunday afternoons are often spent in my classroom grading & getting organized for the week. That's usually about 4 to 6 hours I go in for free.

I took this part time job and it has ended up with a lot of work. My schedule is-I have to be on the bus and checking the bus out at 6.25 AM then I end that session at 10.30 AM and go to another route at 10.45 AM and go to 1.15 PM and start another route at 1.45 PM and that ends at 4.45 PM. This is Monday through Friday. I have to be up at 4 AM and I go to bed at 9 PM. This is one hell of a part time job. I can't wait until I go full time.

PS I have a retirement income all ready.

I work M - F, I usually leave my house around 9:30, get there around 10, then leave around 6:30 or so. I take lunch at my desk and play around on my computer. If I need to come in earlier, like tmrw I should be in around 8 am, then it's no problem :)

I work what ever random days of the week they schedule me in (not fun when trying to plan stuff, especially when the schedule, on occasion, doesn't come out until a few days before the next week -- once it didn't come out until the day before... that was chaos). I usually work evenings, so 2:30 pm- 10:30 pm, or sometimes 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm (again, random days, usually five or four days a week).
Most of my jobs have been evening/night/graveyard shift type of jobs. I'm not much of a morning person, and after years and years of working evening type shifts it feels very odd to be up in the morning, working, etc...
The downside is that I don't always get to do things I want to do, or I have to book the time off. The plus side is that if I'm going out to a club/bar, I can usually make it there 11:30-ish since I live downtown and walk everywhere. The other upside is that I get to sleep in. Also, I get time for day-time appointments, like doctors, etc.
So, there's some ups but also some downs. Especially the random day bit. I usually work weekends. And I also work in retail -- it sux to no end. Beleive me, after 10 or so years of retail, you really, really, really hate it. I'm surprised how much I get away at work. I'm late everyday. I swear. I joke around. I really don't care about my job and everyone knows I hate it, etc. But I have this odd charisma thing going on that everyone loves me, including the customers. it's really weird, but people love me for some reason.
After surgery sometime, I think I'm going to look for something else. I'm bored at my job. I'm one of those people that really don't do well with boring, or doing the same thing over and over and over. My brain is a thinking one, so I like to learn new things and challenge myself. My job isn't an especially "bad" job, but just the same thing I've been doing over and over, with the 20 million other jobs I've had.
The best job I had was when I co-owned/created a small publishing company, in which we produced a magazine. I loved the challenge. I loved going out and talking with people about the magazine. I did really well with it. My charisma seemed to make a difference, combined with that I actually worked hard and enjoyed it because it was a challenge every time. The company no longer exists, but it was a great time.
I'm re-thinking about going back in to business. Or acting (so many people keep saying that I should do that). Or maybe writing, which I used to do a lot of -- especially in this long-winded post.
But yeah, I'm working on that. Organizing life. I just went bankrupt -- not as bad as some people make it out to be. Basically, going bankrupt means I can have my surgery with out fear of looming debt and creditors over my back while I'm recovering ($32,000 in debt is a bit of a heavy load, especially when you're working a retail job); and also, it will allow me to kind of explore for a bit before I jump into an actual career. I feel as though, now that I've become myself, that I'll be heading the direction in life that I need/want to go. For a long time, pre-trans, I seemed to hold off a lot, but now, I have blossomed a lot more. So, yeah, this is a good thing and there's many more good things to come yet.

Yea, I'm a radical.
Well... to be fair, I'm never exactly NOT working in the sense I'm on call 24/7, and do most of The Good Stuff remotely from home at night and on weekends when people aren't around.

Well, they hired me to be "the weekend person" so my schedule is Thursday through Monday, 8AM to 5PM... In actuality, since I fly solo on Saturdays & Sundays, I end up working at least 2-3 hours overtime over the actual weekend, and some weekdays it goes over some, too. Lunch is whenever we work it out at the office -- we can afford to not be anal about it...much more relaxed than my old job!
